Brian Heywood in acoustic mode Though perhaps best known as a band leader, Brian also performs acoustically either as a solo artist or with a little help from his musical friends. Recently he has also been performing as a duo with actress and singer Dawn Webb.

Brian cut his musical teeth in the rough and tumble of the Sydney acoustic music scene so is no stranger to all types of venue. Singing and playing a mix of original, folk and eclectic covers Brian has performed around the world from large festival stages to intimate club and pub venuesi.

Brian's solo show features a mix of original songs, traditional Australian and British folk material and the poetry of Kipling and Lawson in musical settings.

Brian Heywood and Dawn Webb Dawn joins Brian to form a duo that does a mix of well, and lesser, known covers as well as doing a mix of original material from Brian. The styles encompass rock, pop, folk, jazz and country and the songs are performed with strong harmonies, driven by Brian's solid rhythmic guitar style.

The duo can be augmented by other instruments such as fiddle, percussion and bass to produce a small ensemble suitable for any occassion or venue.
